COASTAL RESTAURANT ON CHESIL BEACH, DORSET
We believe true hospitality means every guest feels genuinely welcome
Exceptional dining should feel effortless. We’ve built our reputation on sophisticated food and drink, but we’ve always believed that true hospitality means making every guest feel genuinely welcome, whether they’re joining us for a full seafood feast, stopping by for cocktails, or watching the sunset over Chesil Beach with a glass of wine in hand.

A curated menu that changes with the seasons
Will Hickton leads our kitchen with a single guiding principle: let the finest local, seasonal produce do the talking. Our menus constantly change to reflect what’s best right now, with seafood always at the centre, supported by vibrant meat, vegetarian and dessert dishes.
Regular themed evenings and celebrated Sunday roasts round out a dining programme that gives guests a reason to return again and again.
Front of house is led by a team who are just as passionate about drinks as the kitchen is about food. Our carefully curated wine list and creative cocktail collection draw exclusively on bottles and flavours from the South West — a distinction that earned The Club House a place in the final of the 'Best Bar List' category at the Trencherman's Awards.

THE COCKTAIL LOUNGE, INSTALLED IN 2025

Built in 1932, the Club House itself sets the tone: art deco details, nautical touches and a quiet, comfortable elegance that never tries too hard. Guests can move freely between several distinct spaces depending on their mood.
The main restaurant offers front-row seats to the famous Chesil Beach sunset — best enjoyed with a cocktail in hand. The Garden Pavilion extends the experience outdoors, with walls that roll away in summer to welcome the sea breeze, and roll down in cooler months to create a cosy coastal retreat.
Wander further into the Club Garden — planted with Jurassic succulents year-round — where large lawn tables invite long, lazy afternoons in the sunshine.
For something more intimate, the Beach Houses sit at the garden's edge: bespoke private dining rooms finished in warm wood, natural textures, and rustic coastal pieces. Each comes complete with its own vintage telephone — a direct line to front of house for cocktail refills, naturally.
