The Club House.jpg

From the family that brought you the Hive Beach Café and the Watch House Café
comes The Club House Restaurant.

Established in 1932, this legendary bungalow will delight and impress with simplistic tastes, where the fish is always the hero of the dish.

Comfortably elegant with an art deco nautical feel

Watch the sunset whilst sipping a cocktail in the sunroom, take a seat in the pavilion for dinner and look over beautiful Chesil Beach, or alternatively find a lawn chair to enjoy a glass of wine and the long summer evenings.

Outside the main restaurant lies The Garden Pavilion.

an extension of the clubhouse, designed for dining, celebrations and provides one of the best views on site. With walls that roll away in the summer to let in the sea breeze and rolled down during the cooler seasons to create a cosy coastal escape.

Wander down the path from the Pavilion to enjoy the Club garden,  dotted with Jurassic plants and succulents throughout the year.

During the summer the lawn comes to life with large tables & lawn chairs for guests to relax and enjoy a glass of wine & dining in the sunshine.

Away from the restaurant on the edge of the garden is The Beach House.

A private bespoke Beach House with a warm wood interior provides an intimate dining location for those extra special experiences.

As well as being decorated with natural texture & rustic coastal pieces, the beach house has its very own vintage telephone with a direct line to the front of house for those cocktail refills.

The relationships we've made with local suppliers are important to us.  They add that something special to our menu - the fact that the produce has been supplied by someone local be it a farmer or a fisherman, enables us to maintain the high levels of quality we expect  to deliver to our customers whilst keeping our footprint to a minimum.

Our takeaway packaging is supplied to us by a startup company called NOTPLA. The takeaway boxes are made of seaweed so are fully biodegradable. Notpla were also a finalist and winner of the Earth Shot prize 2022. Which is a ‘Nobel-like prize for the environment’, led by Prince William. We are so happy and excited for them and their future and so proud to be a part of their journey.

Along with Notpla we were excited to have the surrounding town’s local mayors, Martin Clunes, local  businesses’ and we received a letter from Sir David Attenborough wishing us luck and his support with our goal.
